Please see below in more detail on what Lorie does for the local community through Stateline Mental Health Services.
Custody Studies
Lorie completes custody studies that are ordered through Walworth County Family Court. These would be for families that have struggled to resolve issues related to the custody and placement of their children through the court process to date. |
Supervised Visits
Lorie supervises visits for parents who have been ordered through the courts who need to have supervised contact with their children. There may be times when a family would agree to the supervised visit without the court ordering it. The reasons for the supervised visits are ordered for a variety of reasons and each family's needs are assessed at the time of intake to determine and discuss the reasons behind the supervision requirement. Prior to having the first supervised visit, Lorie will meet with the custodial parent and also with the children so that they are as comfortable as they can be. Visits are typically 1-2 hours but can be at different lengths of time if required. |
